Georgia’s Cyber Security Bureau wins top award at US cyber defense exercise

Representatives of Georgia’s Cyber Security Bureau have taken first place in the US Cyber Dawg cyber defense exercise, hosted by the Georgia National Guard in the state of Georgia, United States.
Georgia’s Ministry of Defense on Wednesday said the large-scale training was held at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center and simulated real-world cyber crisis scenarios. The primary objective was to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure against cyberattacks.
The exercise brought together participants from various US military and civilian agencies, as well as partner nations. Under the scenario, defensive teams were tasked with ensuring IT infrastructure security by detecting and responding to cyber incidents.
