Rescue operations in Kyiv have been completed following Russia’s overnight missile attacks on August 1. According to the latest reports, nine people were killed and 33 others were injured, including four children.
Emergency responders successfully rescued 105 people from the affected areas.
A total of 206 rescuers and 42 units of emergency equipment were involved in the response and recovery operation.
During the night of August 1, Russia launched two ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv. Among the victims was a 22-year-old patrol police officer. The attacks caused significant damage and destruction across five districts of the Ukrainian capital.
