Two Georgian citizens declared persona non grata in Latvia

Latvia has declared two Georgian citizens persona non grata and imposed an indefinite entry ban on them, the country’s Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday.

The statement reads the decision was made by Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže in accordance with Article 61, Paragraph 2 of the Immigration Law.

“The Minister of Foreign Affairs has decided to include two Georgian citizens in the list of undesirable persons in Latvia. They have been banned from entering Latvia for an indefinite period,” the statement reads.

The identities of the two Georgian citizens have not yet been disclosed.
