Georgian Dream parliamentary faction deputy chairman Levan Machavariani has criticised Coalition for Change leader Nika Gvaramia over comments he said the opposition politician had made about Ukraine and Georgia.

Machavariani referred to Gvaramia as "stateless" and accused him of expressing concern that Georgia could be left without international reconstruction funding because the country was at peace while Ukraine would receive large financial packages for reconstruction.

"Let me remind you that 230,000 of our fellow citizens voted for this stateless agent in the 2024 parliamentary elections. Aren't you even slightly ashamed?" Machavariani wrote on social media on Monday.
