Georgia, Belarus discuss expanding trade and economic ties

Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani met with Belarusian Ambassador to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation, the Government Administration said.
The meeting focused on the development of relations between Georgia and Belarus in various areas, with particular attention given to trade and economic ties.
The sides discussed opportunities to further expand bilateral economic cooperation, noting that trade between the two countries had continued to grow, as reflected in trade turnover figures for the first six months of 2026.
The meeting also addressed prospects for increasing exports of Georgian products to Belarus, the Government Administration said.
