Gov’t internship programme to offer more than 3,000 positions, administration chief

More than 3,000 internship positions will be available under a government internship programme initiated by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, with students and graduates able to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani said on Thursday.

Zhorzholiani said the programme will be announced in September and will also include internship opportunities in municipalities across Georgia, allowing young people to gain professional experience in their own regions.

The positions will be available to students and graduates, including master’s students and master’s graduates.

“It is important that students and graduates have the opportunity to deepen their theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience, which is also important for their further professional development,” Zhorzholiani said.
