FM Botchorishvili meets newly appointed US Chargé d’Affaires

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with newly appointed US Chargé d’Affaires in Georgia Courtney Austrian to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation.

Austrian began serving in the position on Tuesday.

“Today I met with the newly appointed Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Georgia, Courtney Austrian, who began working in this position today. We discussed relations between Georgia and the United States and prospects for cooperation,” Botchorishvili said.

The US Embassy in Georgia announced on Tuesday that Austrian would serve as the US Chargé d’Affaires in Georgia.
