Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has held talks with Singaporean Foreign Minister Sim Ann, with the two sides focusing on strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic cooperation and deepening their partnership.
Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday said the meeting covered a range of issues, including bilateral ties, cooperation within international organisations and prospects for further developing relations between the two countries.
Botchorishvili highlighted Georgia’s strategic location and its role in enhancing regional and global connectivity.
Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in trade and the economy. According to the Ministry, both sides noted that Georgia and Singapore represent successful examples of economic policy, creating opportunities to further develop business links and investment cooperation.
The ministers also discussed cooperation within international organisations and agreed to continue close coordination on issues of mutual interest.
