
Georgia has expelled 2,203 irregular migrants so far this year, 70% more than the total number recorded in 2025

Georgia has expelled 113 foreign nationals in recent days as part of measures carried out by the Interior Ministry’s Migration Department in coordination with other ministry units.
Those expelled included citizens of Turkey, India, Russia, Turkmenistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, China, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Kenya, Paraguay, the Philippines, Jordan, Uganda and Lebanon, among other countries, the ministry said.
The individuals have been banned from re-entering Georgia in accordance with the country’s legislation.
According to the latest official figures, Georgia has expelled 2,203 irregular migrants so far this year, 70% more than the total number recorded in 2025.
