Georgia expels 113 foreign citizens in recent immigration operation

Georgia has expelled 113 foreign nationals in a series of immigration enforcement operations carried out in recent days, the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

The expulsions were carried out by the ministry's Migration Department in coordination with other relevant units.

The individuals expelled from Georgia were citizens of Turkey, Turkmenistan, Russia, India, Armenia, China, Kenya, Cuba, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Thailand and other countries.

The ministry said all 113 individuals were banned from re-entering Georgia in accordance with the country's immigration legislation.
