Georgian, Serbian presidents discuss historical, cultural, spiritual links at meeting with Shio III

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, together with their spouses, met with Catholicos-Patriarch Shio III.

The parties discussed the historical, cultural and spiritual ties between the Georgian and Serbian peoples and highlighted the importance of further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.

They also emphasised the role of shared Orthodox Christian traditions in fostering mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
