Waves of Ukrainian drone attacks overnight triggered major fires at an oil depot and a logistics warehouse in Russia's Moscow region, killing seven people and wounding 24, regional governors said on Saturday.
One of the fires broke out at the Noginsk oil depot, while another erupted at a Wildberries logistics warehouse in the city of Elektrostal following the reported strikes.
The Noginsk facility reportedly consists of 24 fuel storage tanks with a combined capacity of 11,500 cubic metres.
Reports said drone attacks continued throughout the night across several towns in the Moscow region.
Explosions were also reported in Russia's Tver and Vladimir regions, although the extent of any damage was not immediately clear.
