Moscow came under another drone attack overnight into Sunday, with videos circulating on social media appearing to show drones flying over the city and explosions in the sky.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that several drones had been intercepted and shot down by air defence systems.
At the same time, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) announced that operations had been temporarily suspended at Moscow's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports. Restrictions were also introduced at Sheremetyevo Airport.
The latest attack follows a previous drone strike on Moscow on 18 June. On that occasion, the Moscow Oil Refinery in the Kapotnya district was reportedly hit, triggering a fire.
