Zelenskyy Urges Partners to Make Political Decision on Transferring Patriot Missiles

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that missiles for the Patriot air defense system are available worldwide and stressed that Ukraine’s partners must make the political decision to transfer them instead of keeping them in storage.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine sees how world leaders and countries respond to Russia’s attacks, but the response that truly makes a difference and helps save lives is additional military support for Ukraine.

“There are Patriot missiles in the world. What is needed is a political decision by our partners to provide the necessary packages. The United States knows what we need, and Europe knows what we need,” Zelenskyy said.

He added that anti-ballistic missiles should be used to protect people’s lives rather than remain in warehouses, warning that every day without additional assistance gives Russia another opportunity to kill civilians.
