Israeli PM to meet US President in Washington on Monday

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he will travel to Washington on Monday, where he is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump and attend a ceremony commemorating Senator Lindsey Graham.

“I will discuss all current issues with President Trump, including the situation in Iran,” Netanyahu said.

The Israeli Prime Minister also spoke about his discussions with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, saying Rubio had reaffirmed Washington’s intention to take a firm stance against the International Criminal Court.

“This organisation poses a threat to justice around the world and also threatens the right of democratic and sovereign states to act independently,” Netanyahu said.
