The Ministry of Justice on Sunday announced that Paata Burchuladze, Murtaz Zodelava, Irakli Nadiradze, Paata Manjgaladze and Lasha Beridze had had their phone calls, visits and correspondence restricted until December 9.

The Ministry added the decision was made based on a written request from the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Lawyers of the detainees shared information about the imposed restrictions earlier today.

The five individuals were arrested on October 5 on charges of calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order in connection with the October 4 rally.
