UAE PM offers condolences to Georgian PM over Patriarch Ilia II’s death

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has received a message of condolence from Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, following the death of Ilia II.

In his letter, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum extended his condolences and sympathy to Kobakhidze, the Georgian people and the family of the deceased.

“We received with deep sadness the news of the passing of His Holiness Ilia II, Patriarch of the Georgian Orthodox Church,” the message read, describing the death as a great loss.
