Kremlin neither confirms nor denies Putin-Trump phone call

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declined to confirm or deny reports of a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former U.S. President Donald Trump.

“As the new administration in Washington begins its work, various communications emerge, taking place through different channels,” Peskov stated.

According to the New York Post, Trump claimed in an exclusive interview that he spoke with Putin by phone regarding the war in Ukraine. However, the Kremlin has not officially commented on the alleged discussion.
