German Ambassador Peter Fischer: ‘it’s pleasure to be back in Tbilisi’

Germany’s Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, on Saturday said it was a pleasure to return to the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi, expressing gratitude to the many people in the country who welcomed him with solidarity and kindness.

“Autumn in Berlin has its own mood, but it is a pleasure to be back in Tbilisi. Big gratitude and love to the many good people of Georgia and friends who welcomed me with appreciation and solidarity”, Fischer wrote on social media.

Germany had recalled its Ambassador for consultations on October 19. The German Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday that Ambassador Fischer had returned to Georgia.
