Ukraine’s armed forces have released updated figures on Russia’s military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Tuesday said Russia had lost an estimated 1,242,290 troops killed or wounded since the war began, including 760 casualties recorded over the past day.

The General Staff further noted Russia’s estimated combat losses between 25 February 2022 and 3 February 2026 included:

  • Tanks: 11,633 (+6)

  • Armoured fighting vehicles: 23,985 (+4)

  • Artillery systems: 36,855 (+53)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,633 (+0)

  • Air defence systems: 1,292 (+1)

  • Fixed-wing aircraft: 435 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 347 (+0)

  • Operational and tactical-level drones: 122,388 (+1,171)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,205 (+0)

  • Light fast boats / ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 2 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 76,738 (+153)

  • Special equipment: 4,058 (+1)
