From June 2026, Tbilisi will be connected directly to another European capital - Copenhagen - with flights operated by Norwegian Air Sweden, a subsidiary of the well-known Scandinavian low-cost carrier Norwegian.
According to an application submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency, direct flights between Tbilisi and Copenhagen will operate twice a week starting 27 June, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. From 15 August, flights will run on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The Civil Aviation Agency, under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, granted the airline the necessary authorization to operate the route on 23 March.
“Adding the Copenhagen-Tbilisi route will enhance Georgia’s connectivity with Scandinavian countries and support an increase in tourist flows from Northern Europe. Copenhagen Airport is also one of Europe’s major transit hubs, providing Georgian passengers with additional opportunities to travel to other European and American destinations via Copenhagen,” the agency said.
