Lieutenant General Matiashvili also held bilateral meetings with the Chair of the NATO Military Committee

Georgia’s Defence Forces took part in a meeting of the NATO Military Committee at the level of Chiefs of Defence, held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Defence, the Georgian delegation was led by Lieutenant General Giorgi Matiashvili. Discussions in the NATO-Georgia format focused on priority areas of military cooperation, progress achieved so far, and future plans.

During the visit, Lieutenant General Matiashvili also held bilateral meetings with the Chair of the NATO Military Committee, as well as with the Chiefs of Defence of Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, and Türkiye.
