Georgian patrol police chief hosts Armenian border guard commander

Levan Maisuradze, director of Georgia's Patrol Police Department, has hosted Garik Muradyan, commander of the Border Troops of Armenia's National Security Service, during his official visit to Georgia, the Interior Ministry said.

According to the ministry, Maisuradze briefed the Armenian delegation on the work of the Patrol Police Department, while the two sides discussed key areas of cooperation between the relevant agencies of Georgia and Armenia.

The delegation also toured the Patrol Police Department's vehicle fleet and equipment.

During the visit, the Armenian officials were shown the Patrol Police's Unified Service Centre, where they were introduced to its operations and the process of providing services to the public.
