Georgian deputy interior minister attends global public security forum in China

Georgia’s Deputy Interior Minister Giga Kirkitadze is visiting China as part of a Georgian delegation and has taken part in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (GPSCFL) in Lianyungang.
The forum, established in 2022, brings together senior officials from law enforcement agencies in different countries, as well as leaders of international organisations, to discuss global security issues, the MIA press office said on Wednesday.
The official also participated in sub-forums focused on international cooperation in drug control and cooperation in the field of police education.
Senior officials from relevant departments of Georgia’s Interior Ministry are also part of the delegation visiting China.
