Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on Tuesday said Russian losses on the battlefield currently exceed Ukrainian losses by 3.5 times.
“Depending on the day, the difference in the number of those killed can be seven or even nine times greater — sometimes that happens,” Syrskyi said.
The Commander added efforts are being made to minimise casualties among Ukrainian troops, while the Defence Forces continue increasing the pace of enemy destruction.
In the same interview, Syrskyi said Ukraine was preparing reforms that include increasing the minimum salary for military personnel.
He also warned that a new Russian military operation launched from Belarus remained “entirely possible”.
Syrskyi said the Russian General Staff is actively assessing and planning offensive operations from the north, which could lead to an expansion of the front line.
