Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili has held a working meeting with Public Defender Levan Ioseliani to discuss cooperation between their institutions.
Deputy Interior Minister Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and the deputy public defenders also attended the meeting.
The ministry said the participants reviewed existing cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Office of the Public Defender and discussed opportunities to further develop their partnership.
