Georgian Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili visited several structural units of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs during his official visit to the country, where he was briefed on their operations, infrastructure and ongoing reforms.
Tamazashvili, accompanied by First Deputy Minister Roni Meskhi and Patrol Police Department Director Levan Maisuradze, toured Armenia’s 112 Operational Management Centre and the Patrol Police Service, the ministry press office said on Wednesday.
Armenian officials presented the Georgian delegation with an overview of reforms implemented within the ministry, its organisational structure, and the introduction of modern technologies into law enforcement operations.
The delegation also inspected police infrastructure and specialised equipment, while receiving briefings on the capabilities and key areas of activity of the respective units.
