Georgian Ambassador to US meets Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, held a meeting with US Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R–Florida).
Congresswoman Luna, one of the youngest female leaders within the Republican Party, serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Oversight Committee, and chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral relations between Georgia and the United States, prospects for their further development, and potential new areas of cooperation. The conversation also addressed current and evolving geopolitical developments at the international level.
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of safeguarding national sovereignty, implementing effective immigration policies, strengthening energy independence, and promoting global peace initiatives.
