Protest march underway in Tbilisi

A protest march is taking place in the Georgian capital, with demonstrators moving along Rustaveli Avenue carrying banners and flags.

Participants were heard chanting slogans, including “Revolution”. Earlier, students from the first building of Tbilisi State University began a march and later joined the protesters heading toward Rustaveli Avenue.

Organisers announced that speeches and official statements will be delivered during the rally, along with the presentation of a public declaration.

Meanwhile, law enforcement officers have been mobilised across the area.
