US President Donald Trump has said Iran is in a “very, very bad” situation.
Trump said the United States had rebuilt its military capabilities and was now using them in different regions, including Iran.
“We have a great military. We rebuilt it in my first term and now in my second term we are using it with Venezuela, other places and now with Iran. Iran is in very bad shape. Those of you reading inaccurate reports should know that their situation is very, very bad. They are having difficulties,” Trump said.
Trump also said that the US and Israel had a “good understanding” on beginning the implementation of a Gaza peace agreement, which he said would include the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the disarmament of Hamas.
According to Trump, Israel has responded positively to the agreement.
“Israel is very happy with it. Most people thought we would never reach this agreement. Of course, this process will still go through changes. The situation there is very complicated,” he said.
