Trump says Putin is playing with fire

US President Donald Trump wrote on Truth Social that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not understand how much Trump has helped Russia in the past.

“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He’s playing with fire!” – Trump stated.

This comment came after Russia launched large-scale attacks on Ukrainian territory over several nights using various weapons. Initially, Trump did not comment on the strikes, but later said that “Putin has gone crazy.”

Trump also mentioned that the United States is seriously considering imposing new sanctions on Russia. Meanwhile, the Kremlin responded by saying that Trump’s statements were caused by an “emotional overload.”
