Aircraft, More Than 1,300 Troops in a Day: Russia’s Latest Losses in Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s combat losses.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has lost approximately 1,476,580 personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion, including 1,310 over the past 24 hours. The figure includes troops reported as killed or wounded.
Ukraine estimates Russia’s total combat losses between February 25, 2022, and August 23, 2026, as follows: 12,292 tanks (+0), 25,202 armored combat vehicles (+26), 48,451 artillery systems (+69), and 2,054 multiple-launch rocket systems (+0).
The reported losses also include 1,585 air defense systems (+1), 440 aircraft (+1), 354 helicopters (+0), 2,352 ground-based robotic systems (+8), 476,566 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,925), and 5,052 cruise missiles (+3).
Russia has also reportedly lost 35 ships and boats (+0), two submarines (+0), 138,219 vehicles and fuel tankers (+415), and 4,569 pieces of special equipment (+4).
