US Congressman accuses Georgian Government of endangering US access to Middle Corridor minerals

Republican Congressman Joe Wilson has accused Georgia’s ruling party, Georgian Dream, of jeopardizing the United States’ access to strategic mineral resources transiting the Middle Corridor. In a post shared on social media, Wilson claimed that the government was undermining US interests through its port policies.

Wilson wrote that Georgian Dream was handing over its port to the Chinese Communist Party and driving away trusted investors in favor of mafia-style corruption, which he argued threatened US maritime and land-based access to critical supply chains.
