Ukrainian drones struck an oil terminal in St. Petersburg overnight, triggering a major fire at the facility, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukraine's Special Operations Forces.
Zelenskyy said the operation targeted Russia's port oil infrastructure, describing it as a facility that "generates money for Russia's war."
According to the Special Operations Forces, multiple drones hit the oil terminal, causing a large fire at the site.
Ukrainian forces also carried out strikes on the Port of Kronstadt, which Kyiv described as an important military target located more than 850 kilometers from Ukraine's border.
