Georgian journalist Vakho Sanaia has been released from administrative detention after serving a 14-day sentence imposed over a social media post concerning senior ruling party officials.
Sanaia left the temporary detention facility in Mtskheta on Wednesday, where he was met by family members and colleagues.
Speaking after his release, the Formula TV presenter vowed to continue participating in anti-government protests.
"The regime is doomed. Neither imprisonment nor fines will have any impact on us. I will continue protesting," Sanaia said.
