Wizz Air Malta, a Maltese low-cost airline and a subsidiary of the Hungarian low-cost airline group Wizz Air Holdings, will increase its flight frequency between Venice, Italy and Kutaisi, Georgia, for the 2026 summer navigation season.

From May 15 to September 4, the airline will add flights on Fridays, bringing the route’s weekly schedule to three flights - Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia, under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, granted Wizz Air Malta approval for the increased regular service on April 7.

The Venice-Kutaisi-Venice route was initially launched last December. Currently, Wizz Air operates from Georgia to 24 destinations across Europe.
