Zelenskyy: Trump’s Representatives Should Step Up Efforts as Ukraine Remains Ready for Talks

Ukraine is ready to participate in any negotiation format that can deliver a just and lasting peace, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.

According to Zelenskyy, Kyiv remains in daily contact with representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump and expects diplomatic efforts to intensify in August.

“We will be ready for meetings in any format, and we expect Witkoff and Kushner to be actively engaged in August,” Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian president also noted that cooperation with other international partners, including Gulf countries, is ongoing, although some aspects of those diplomatic efforts have not yet been made public.

Zelenskyy added that Kyiv expects concrete results from the ongoing diplomatic initiatives.
