Two killed in car crash in western Georgia

Two people were killed in a car accident in Samegrelo, western Georgia.

The accident occurred today in Kakhat, in Zugdidi Municipality. According to preliminary information, a car travelling at high speed crashed into a fence, killing both people inside the vehicle.

The Interior Ministry has launched an investigation under Article 276 of the Criminal Code, which concerns violations of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules.
