Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters on Sunday that the war in Ukraine could have been prevented, but the ‘Deep State’ did everything to ensure this military aggression took place, which is a grave crime not only against the Ukrainian people but against all of humanity.
According to Kobakhidze, this is a devastating war that has claimed many lives.
“Avoiding the war in Ukraine was entirely possible. You may recall our statements made in early 2022. We emphasized that every effort should have been made to prevent the war in Ukraine. However, this was not solely a matter for the Ukrainian government.
First and foremost, it was the ‘Deep State’ that actively worked to ignite the war in Ukraine. There were various interests involved. I am speaking about preventing the war, not the military aggression itself. The military aggression was carried out by the Russian Federation, but the war itself could have been avoided. However, the Deep State ensured that this military aggression occurred, which is a massive crime against both the Ukrainian people and humanity as a whole.
This is a tragic war that has taken countless lives and completely undermined the interests of our friendly nation. Therefore, this is one of the greatest crimes committed by the ‘Deep State’ against the Ukrainian people and humanity. This war should never have been allowed to happen, but certain forces did everything in their power to make sure it did,” Kobakhidze stated.
