Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Strong Georgia party, addressed the crowd at a rally outside Parliament, affirming his commitment to standing with the people against any threats to the nation.
“I stand with those who will not let this country fall into anyone’s hands…I want Bidzina Ivanishvili to understand that he is a political thief, along with his gang, who are ready to serve those who wish to steal our future,” he said, referring to the founder and honorary chair of the ruling Georgian Dream party, Bidzina Ivanishvili.
In his speech, he condemned the ”theft of elections,” claiming people’s voices were silenced to surrender the country to another nation. He emphasized that this betrayal will not prevail, as the Georgian people have historically stood strong during challenges. He highlighted the importance of unity among the people to safeguard their freedom, which he described as the key to their survival.
Khazaradze differentiated between two types of thieves: “There are thieves who steal your phone, your money, your car, and then there are political thieves who steal your future, everything—your children’s happiness, your children’s freedom. Bidzina Ivanishvili is that kind of thief. He needs to realize that he is a political thief, ready to serve those who wish to rob us of our future,” he stressed.
“I stand on the right side, with those who will not let anyone take this country—not Ivanishvili, not Putin, and not any of our enemies. Together we will prevail, and we will not give up!” Khazaradze concluded.
