Eminence Grigol, Metropolitan of Poti and Khobi, emphasized the importance of faith, love, and hope in overcoming life’s challenges during his recent sermon on Tuesday. He urged the congregation to care for each other, the country, and the world they were born into.
“There have been many trials, big and small, for our country, and they continue even today. How can a person overcome these trials? With faith, love, and hope. Let us take care of one another and the world we live in,” he said.
Eminence Grigol highlighted the need for unity in facing these challenges, noting that it was increasingly difficult for people to find common ground. “The Lord is the source of grace, energy, and strength. God is love, and we must open our hearts to this love,” he said.
He also reminded the faithful to remain steadfast in their belief, even in the face of difficulties. “May God give you the strength to not forget Him despite the trials you face. It is in times of hardship that we are awakened. As long as there is life in this world, there will always be trials,” he continued.
Eminence Grigol called for unity and mutual understanding, especially in today’s divisive times. “We must be united, not only in words but also in thought. Trials will come, but the most important thing is to stay awake and not fall into complacency,” he concluded.
